Professor in Infrastructure planning and management (Mathematical modeling, planning theory, National and regional land planning)

The successful candidate will carry on education and research in the above
specialized fields mainly for Graduate Major in Civil Engineering. He/she will
contribute to the management of the institute, the school, the department, and the
graduate minor. He/she will be required to carry out lectures and
experimental/exercise courses for undergraduate and graduate students
according to the above specialized fields. He/she will be required to engage in
research, and instruct and supervise undergraduate and graduate students in
his/her research laboratory.

Requirements

• Applicants must hold a PhD or equivalent.

• The successful candidate is required to have pioneering and internationally notable research achievements。
• The successful candidate is required to have a notable ability to actively create a novel research field.
• The successful candidate must have a strong commitment to excellence in research and teaching.

• The successful candidate will work on operations necessary for management of institute, school, department, and so on.
• The successful candidate will be required to carry out lectures and experimental/exercise courses for undergraduate and graduate courses according to the above specialized fields.
• The successful candidate will be required to engage in research, instruct, and supervise undergraduate and graduate students (in his/her research laboratory).
